56 ford truck mixed with 57 ranchero pictues

    Yeah, I see what you're saying about the fin, I do like the height of the light better though. Don't take my comment as negative, I know you hafta stand back and look at it from all over and make the best choice and I'm just seeing one angle from the pic. As I said the truck has a great overall look.
     
  2. I am not sure if any of the replies were from people who have seen this truck in person, but I did see it @ the Cow Palace in SFO and couldn't get away from it. I'm not the biggest fan of x-cab converts either, but the detail work and integrating a consistent window opening profile and drip rail puts this one above most "magazine" trucks.

    The pictures don't really do this truck justice, the proportions and touches front to back are really something. I never get tired of seeing the canted headlights, either.

    Can't wait to see it in purple/scallops.

    Wasn't really thrilled the fenders in mock up. But, you really pulled it off man. I dig it!!!!

    Love the truck! Have a friend that does lots of 56s. He moves the front of the front wheel opening back about 2 inches. Seems to help the looks. On my F-1 I moved the axle forward about an inch. Not knockin yer work at all, nice job...........OLDBEET
