I just got a call from Kustombuilder with the good news.



This is a shot of the car from Detroit last year before the new paint and interior.

Well deserving car. It was really nice. On the other hand,Bo's '27 won two awards.WTF! Oh well. It aint about the trophys anyways. Bobby Green won Best Competition,for his belly tank,and another one for something else.

Yeah, I got a late night call from Matt too and the excitment in his voice said it all, I couldn't be happier for him and Denny, they worked real hard and spent countless hours on that car.

I'm sure it will be a real shot in the arm for the buisness as well.

That is Freaking AWESOME! I couldn't be happier for Denny and Matt and I couldn't think of a more deserving shop to get the award! Not at all to take away from all the other awesome cars, but the talent, quality, and design that Ionia Hot Rod shop has is on par with ANYONE in the world, and now THEY JUST PROVED IT! That is GREAT!!!!

 

Congratulations they really build some cool cars, parts and the details they put into them makes them special!

 

Wow, that's got to be like a dream come true. Congratulations, guys.

I had a message on my phone Saturday night. It was somewhat slurred and it went as follows:

'Hey, I'm Drunk, We got best of show, I gotta pee."

He has been stalking some bartender out there. I told him he needs to go see Metal Skool at the Key Club tonight. Someone needs to go and give him a ride. He says he is almost out of money for cab fare. ha ha ha
