When I went to Ol Skool Rodz's website this morning, it wasn't there - somebody forgot to renew the domain name!

Here's a screenshot. If anybody on here knows these guys, somebody give 'em a call. As much **** as I give 'em, I just can't let 'em lose their domain name... I'm not THAT much of an A-Hole. :)

Here's a screenshot, taken around 8:55 AM Central this morning.

Well, I guess if you WERE an A-Hole you could not tell anybody and wait quietly for it to expire, then buy it out from underneath 'em and sell it back. :)

    Heh heh heh...

Yep. A tight budget, but damn!

FYI, nothing's loading anymore from that domain. In fact, here's when Internic says it expired:

    "No match for "WWW.OLSKOOLRODZ.COM".

    >>> Last update of whois database: Sat, 27 Jan 2007 17:12:19 EST <<<

NOTICE: The expiration date displayed in this record is the date the
registrar's sponsorship of the domain name registration in the registry is
currently set to expire. This date does not necessarily reflect the expiration
date of the domain name registrant's agreement with the sponsoring
registrar. Users may consult the sponsoring registrar's Whois database to
view the registrar's reported date of expiration for this registration."

Like I said, if you want to be a ****, buy it and sell it back. :)

There's the time and date it goes up for sale. And nobody at Ol Skool Rods will probably remember anything about it until they check their email on Monday. :)

You know, if they'd have just paid the $12 or so to Verisign (or whoever they went through), this wouldn't have happened. You'd think they'd have something like this marked on their group calendar.

I rarely get involved in threads on the main board but I have to say...

    Who Cares?

There's a reason for seperate boards. To keep them seperate.

The only thing I can predict this post will generate is more cross thread bashing drama.

We're full up here so I'm closing it.
