Any thing Hot rod or Bike related near La that is a must see. We have Disneyland planned in early Aug but looking for something for the Wife and I to do. Any shows,swapmeets,shops I should hit while I am out there? Thanks Dave
In Augest you will want to stay over by the coast, it will be 100+ out here, but a nice drive up Highway 1 is nice you can start down north of LA arround Santa Monica, and go all the way up to Cambria where Hearst castle is. I is about 250 miles of great coast sceanery, Drive up one day spend the night and drive back the next... If you have alot of time you can go all the way up the coast and Fly back out of San Jose or Oakland...

The Long Beach Swap Meet is August 12th. It's nowhere near as big as Pomona, but there's always some cool stuff there.
Might hafta make it to the LBC, last time I was at Po'mona, I saw more flinkin' flankin' plastic toys and rusty **** than you could shake a stick at. Looked like half the vendors just cleared all the **** they could rustle up out of their garages and backyards and dropped it in their spot for all to see. I'm sorry, am I hijacking this thread?

Quite afew So Ca. hambers are usually there also...Especialy since It doesn't seem like there will be a whole lot going on...Maybe Badbob will have something organized?in that case you could hook up w/ a local HAMBer and ride along....Maybe he'll chime in, I'm sure if there is anything going on he'll know...Village idiots will probably get to gether in Yorba linda, if your in town on a Tuesday evening.... I've yet to make it to one, since my truck isn't freeway worthy yet. But they look like a good time.....And if I don't make it soon, Bob's probably gonna take my sticker back J/k
