Yep....just got back and didnt come home with anything. Verry odd for me, but I just couldnt find anything that I really needed.
With the Columbias selling for 3 grand plus and K.H. wheels locked up to a tree with a $800 price tag. I was already scared to see the rest of the prices...hahaha

How about the rest of you? Any good buys?

ya see,,the problem is that GOLD and RUST are two very close shades of color and some people confuse the two ...:D

my buddy got an n.o.s.62 impala cruise control and power mirror...1900.00 for the c.c and 600.00 for the mirror....does that tell you how crazy some of the sellers/buyers were?i told him those 2 purchases were half of what my car is costing to build.
i saw alot of cars on the lawn area going for"barrett-jackson"prices.how about a 60 impala convertible for 65,000?
i agree with some of the other guys, people think rust and gold are the same thing:eek:

I only attended Saturday. I found most of my stuff wwith non-related parts. I was shocked and amused at some of the prices that were being asked for stuff. I actually had to laugh out loud several times. I understand the price on the really rare stuff, but most was junk.

  19. I ended up working a 23 hour shift starting at 7:30 on friday trying to finish a car for a customer (lots of ill fitting parts and things that wern't delivered 'til the zero hour), and my ride left the north bay at 5:30 so I didn't make it,, I was going to grab 2 hours of sleep in the car and just deal with it. Sounds like I didn't miss much though? did Anyone see a halfway solid '26-'27 T roadster door????

Went back today, in very thick fog and some sellers starting to pack up after a night of rain. Had a couple 3 hours of OK weather, then rain. So, got a set of '53 Merc headlight rings for $30. Also, electrical stuff. Then a new pair of 63-64 full size Chevy outside rearview mirrors for $54. They are still cl***ic looking, but designed not to interfere with wind wing openng and you can actually see out of p***enger side mirror. Oh ya, yesterday talked to custom guru Gene Winfield who is there every year selling parts. He will have more body work cl***es in the spring. Jealous of my buddies that flew South Fri for the GNRS and a tour of SoCal. Then back in time for Sat Swap.
