1947 Chevy VIN

Where are the ID numbers on a 1947 Chevy coupe located? Thanks

 

on the vin tag on the firewall right side behind motor

 

...think the Vin. tag is on the door jam in front of door...firewall tag is a body tag.

Got my sides mixed up, when Frank posted I went out to the shop to look, sure as ****, I was discombobulated.

Three that I have owned had it low on the right door A pillar.
