The only two I can think of are Norm Grabowski's and Tommy Ivo's... but I know there are more. I'm not looking for Fad T's that people have swapped red wheels and white walls onto... and primere'd them black... Anyone have any pics of some that are done right? Or can it be done? This just seems to be a type of traditional hot rod that was started by two guys... they built the best looking ones... and it just went down hill from there. Most of them remind me of that Monkey and Football ****ogy... but I want to ride in my cars and not on them. I can think of one off the top of my head... the one that Rudy Rodriguez built that Mike Z. owned... it looekd pretty cool... Any others? In case you are wondering what I'm up to... I have a VERY cherry '23 T roadster body that I will build into a banger powered traditional 40's era hot rod... I've also always liked Ivo's T... and I bought ANOTHER steel T-roadster body at Turlock... pretty nice sheet metal... that I think needs the Ivo treatment. Sam.

Here's a couple from the late 50's:Bill Roland's T from Niantic Connecticut and George Gould's from Waltham M***achusetts.George's car had a ton of chrome on it but he drove it everywhere.The pics are from HRM taken at Indianapolis.George drove the car out there.The car supposedly still is squirreled away in a garage somewhere in M***achusetts.It was 55 T-Bird green in the pics but ws later painted black.George had many cars afterwards(I striped a couple for him)and eventually wound up on the Left Coast working for Boyd.Sadly he p***ed away several years ago.
I always liked that blue one with the bomber seats, and the isky one too! I was kind of thinking about doing my exhaust like the isky roadster, here's one that belongs to one of the shifters.
What makes a car a T-bucket? Because I don't think the RR was one was it? Is this a T-bucket? I don't really like them, but somehow this one I posted the link to is really cool I think.
I would call the RR a T-bucket... it was more of a "Track T" in my opinion. But yea... I don't really like T-buckets either... but that Royal Shifters one is what I'm talkin' about! Along the lines of the Ivo T... short Model A pickup bed... suicide front end... I like that car (Royal Shifters?)... but the back has to come down a bit for me... Anywho... I was just thinking out loud as I just picked this body up... the one I've had for a couple years is going to get the "traditional" treatment... I would show pics... but it's too early in the game for that. I can say that I have saved and searched for parts for the last couple of years... to do it right... and just acquired the last part this past weekend (a Columbia 2 speed rear) But this latest one might be a slap together deal where I kinda use what I have lying around. I think I could blend the elements of an original body, an SBC, maybe some Old American Mags and spindle mounts into something really cool and fast. I dunno. Sam.
hahaha heres mine. it will eventually have a Flatty, and all 4 35 wires. sitting up pretty high, painted gloss black with blackwall biasplys and creme colored wheels!
The old T-bucket (RIP 8.6.06) out of the He-man Garage was pretty traditional with a 239ci Y-block. Here's a pic in case you forgot. As scared as I should be of them now, I miss her everyday....
sam, what made up the roach's body? looks like some coupe, some roadster? there's a hamber from new jersey (sixcarb i think?) who has a *****in survivor t. maybe he'll chime in. anyway, here's my contribution to this thread. sorry that it's flat black with red rims and whitewalls. thx ed
There was that green one that got posted up, here, a while back. Does anybody remember it? From Aussieland, if I remember correctly. I will see if I can find some pics. Glad to hear that you are going on that one Sam. That body is extra special. Didja unload that speedster?

Got any more angles of this one? I'm not usually a fan of this style (too kookie, too much body rake, too much tire, etc.,) but this one just works for me. I'd like to see it from the front and back.
