"I bought the car about six months ago with the top already chopped, the headlights frenched, all suspension done, and the motor installed. I have done everything else myself except for the paint work." so what exactly did he do? i wouldn't be suprised if this car never met the reserve

first off that really makes me mad cause he is claiming all of brian's work as his...and those taillights are god awful on there...the front bumper does look good but he is plainly stealing someone else's credit..."I did all the work except the paint" my ass you did!!! we should all just bomb him with e-mails saying "WE KNOW YOUR A FAKE!!!"..."danger danger" lol...great video

He fixed a bunch of shit on it thats for sure but i woulndt say he is trying to take credit. he did finish the little sections for the hardtopping and it looks killer. well see what it brings he payed me 11,100 for it and then put some money into it. There is no way that thing went 120 though haha i never went above 65 in it.

  12. maybe the rear tires are bald and he cant change them!!!

He also says it's got a 307 Chevy under the hood when it's really a 305.

A little thing, yeah...two cubes, but a whole different bore x stroke deal.

I kinda like what he did with the interior, though.

...and his pinstriper's lettring work looks an awfull lot like 4t64rd's!!!

I wonder if he saved all that troll hair when he redid the interior, it's scarce and someone was just looking for some...:D

I think the vette taillights keep with the original flow of your work,I'm not much into the custom thing but that car has the look without being gaudy.
You should have kept that one.

I about pee'd myself reading all the ones that everyone sent on the lunar lander when it was on ebay. I always thought those tailights would have looked good on one of those cars in theory, but they look too big and too high up on the quater panel.

  19. Time fly's Bryan.....seems like yesterday we were all cushin our beer cans with the Herpe's back bumper at Autorama.......:)

  20. IDK if it's just because of the chop, or whatever, but those taillights look totally different on that car than I'd seen before. I have a '62/'63 issue of Hot Rod that has a 4 door Fleetline (a 50) and they actually look pretty good. I considered doing it to my Fleetline, til I found out that they were $800 a piece!

But, I agree, they look like ass on that car.

Jay (who has no taste anyway).

edit, I just tried to go back and the listing has been pulled???

If it sold, or he ended the auction, the link would work. it would have said at the top that the auction was ended early, and why (out of a list of 4 options ebay gives you to end it). If the item just dissapeared, ebay removed the auction all together.

the taillights seem to interupt the bodylines. the car should be returned to its rightful owner if you ask me...
