YES i already read previous posts about SoCal. I couldnt find anything about a town called Fallbrook. Does anyone know what this place is like? I see that it is kinda in the middle of everything. Just some opinions please...............
No, but remember that if it's not in No. Ca., the rest of the state is "dessert" (not like cake'n'icecream)So, it will be F'n hot in the summer unless your on the coast.......And the ocean breeze blows all the smog inland to the valleys... I'm in H.B., Orange County....The emosexual "Ha, I just made that word up" capital of the world. The weathers awsome, 99% of the people Suck....Bring your tight pants....hehehehehehe....Welcome though, and best of luck!!!
Hi, Fallbrook is in the North County of San Diego, just south of Camp Pendleton. It's kind of out in the boonies but still in San Diego county. I think you'll love it. It has small town atmosphere but your only a few miles from anything you could want. They have a big car show up there every year. Rick
Fallbrook is a little out in the boonies but just about 45 min from central San Diego , plus it has the legendary Dode Martin from Dragmasters out there, plenty of car stuff to do and your close to C&G Early Ford and The Jalopy Shop(e?)
I think you're on to something...haha there is everything to do here in socal. I went off roading with some friends yesterday in azusa canyon, there's places to go to the snow like 1-1/2 hours away. There's beaches, night life. what do you like to do??
I know there is an abundance of things to do.. I was just askin' about the Fallbrook area. Hopefully you guys will see me in about 6-7 months.
the west coast is gonna fall of soon ... hope your town becomes the new beach front attn. w. coasters please drive all cool rides/vintage acc. to higher ground or ship to me in minn. paperdog
I know the schools are great if you have kids. I have friends that have lived there for years and they love the community and the rural feel rather than the "big city" life. Good luck!
If your into Period Perfect history then a community neighbor would be none other than author Don Montgomery. Lots of great driving in that area.
Fallbrook is/was an avocado farming community. A lot of new developeing going on. I go there for work 1x/2x a month. My inlaws had a 2 acre spread there a while ago. It has a small down town with a great atmosphere. It's freeway close to San Diego or the Inland Empire. I think it's a great town and I wouldn't mind living there.
Fallbrook is close enough to easily "Cruise Grand" in Escondido from the spring thru fall, the town really opens up to this event.
Lived there in the early 80's, avacodo capitol of the fucking world. 20-30 minutes to the beach, 100 miles to L.A. Real estate has gone crazy with prices. Check out Rainbow, Bonsall, Vista, all close by. Bitchin M/C riding, lead a group thru there once a year. It's the back door to Camp Pendleton, join the Marines. Job and Housing problem cured all in one. Good Luck.
Love avacodos, love MX and hate marines. hahaha Im a squid, Kinda like a brotherly hate more or less hahaha

Ha I remember HB hot is around 90 right? You guys might have better weather down in Surf City , but my house payment is less! Heck anything's better than the Great Lakes though. I'll take 114 over -5 any day of the week. Welcome!
I live in Escondido which is about 10 minutes from Fallbrook. Its a quite lil' town. It is very rural, and is more like the desert. If your more into the country I would suggest there or Vista... or there is even country here in Escondido. Hope to see you here soon. - Jon
