Hello all.I am gonna order wheels for my a project.I have a pair of wide white 5.60-15 coker tires for the front, and a pair of L78-15 cokers for the rear.Does anyone know wht width would work best for these tires? Also, back spaceing info would help too. Thanks in advance! EVIL
Coker's website actually has the wheel width ranges on it for both of those tires. Just query the tire then click on it and it will give you the specs. As for backspacing, we'd have to know what its going on, and even then you'd still need to measure it up.
i like the look of 5.60s on 4" rims, and l78s on 6" rims myself. backspacing is all down to what youve got to fit them under or around. you need to know the axle widths, body width, and fender width(if youve got them) as well as they tyre size and rim width to figure it out. what car is it?
I just put my 5.60's on a 5" set of reverse steelies from rallyamerica. they look nice!! with no air they look thin but they swell up nice on the 5". very good balance of rim and tread. my .02, Rich here they are...
I know that it was kinda a loaded question.I am building a 28-29 tudor, and ti will be channeled prety low.The problem is the body is broken all apart right now,and Im trying to build the chassi. If anyone has a measurement from the widest point above the rear wheel house(I think that would be the belt line),That would really help me out.No fenders to worry about.I will post the rearend measurements in a little. Thanks for all the help guys!
