Just received this email this morning. This yard hasbeen closed to the public for many years and now selling all. Check out the link shows alot of the cars. They said in the email that there are 100's of cars from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s plus 1000s of parts on the ground.

Their main website www.texa***ports.net shows their shop at exit 293 on IH35. Not far from Austin...about an hour or so north. I don't see any info about when or where this junkyard is or when it's open for "viewing". I'd be interested in checking it out as well.

Looks more like a gold mine than a junk yard to me. I wish I lived closer.

Pretty much picked over. Lots of Hambers went after the Day of the drags last year. It is 35 miles outside of Waco on the rite hand side

They had some of those "finished" cars at Bell County swap meet a few months ago. You could smell the fresh bondo and enamel.

I can't imagine any of those cars will be a deal...

Nice sandy soil....helped keep the stuff from sinking in and rotting terrible. A lot of the stuff looks pretty solid.

    here's the scoop.

Texas Exports isn't closing down-they bought a closed down junkyard.
Pricing- go there and talk to Dan. the more stuff you buy, the cheaper he gets.- but don't expect to see any of the cars in the photos there-yet.

they're a group of good guys all in all.
funny thing is...some of their stuff isn't worth what they're asking, and some of it is worth much more than what they're asking. as usual, when dealing with car guys, we all set our own values on what something is worth to us.

  17. I believe thats what heaven looks like, well maybe a few other things as well.
