It’s time to move on to bigger and better things. If you want a Hot Rod that you can drive ANYWHERE here it is: My coupe is for sale for the best offer. I wanted to let the add be here on the HAMB for a week or two before I tried E-Bay… Here’s the scoop on the important stuff: 1951 Chrysler Hemi, 6 Strombergs on a Weiand Drag Star log manifold, Hot Heads cam, 1955 354 heads (bigger valves), stainless undercut valves, Ross pistons, Walker radiator, hidden water pump, hidden alternator, TH700R4 trans, 1939 rear banjo, shortened width-wise for a Model A, early original V-8 Hallibrand quick change, Hot Rod Works modern axle conversion and locker, SW reproduction wings gauges, hidden sound system: Alpine motorized face deck (comes down from behind the dash when the key is turned on), remote, XM radio, CD, CD-R, Amp, Sub, Mids, Tweets. Glide Eng. seat, 1946 Ford steering wheel on a 1939 column, 8” chop, body work is all roughed in and needs some final work to be ready for paint. PM your offer and questions to me. I will talk to serious buyers on the telephone (please no tire kickers). The car has been in several mags and has been all over the west coast several times, so you may already be familiar with it… I’m going to be wrenching for Jack Harris in Seattle Wa in a couple of weeks at the Good Guys thingy and I will have the car with me if anyone in the area wants to come look at it… Thanks! Kris.

Damn. That is my all time favorite Hot Rod Coupe. The original Hemi Coupe. On the phone now with a prospect for it. Will get back with you.

Some things I forgot: I replaced the grille with a new stainless one, I have the hood top on the car now... and I need to get more realistic on that price (I'm certain most of you guys are laughing at me) :) I'm reseting the price to $35,000 / OR best offer.

Just a reminder, I’ll have my coupe with me this weekend in Seattle, Wa. at the VRA Northwest Nostalgia Drags. I’ll be wrenching on Jack Harris’ TFD, so if you want a guided tour of my car, or if you are more serious, take the car for a ride… or whatever, look for me and my coupe in the Nitro Thunder pit.. --Kris

I saw it on ePay, no reserve, but then he relisted it with a 30K Buy it Now and it got smacked in less than a couple hours.

I hope it went to a HAMBer but doubt it, excellent car and well worth the $$$$'s.

The car is in Texas now. Everything good always ends up in Texas.

I heard about a car named the Red Grenade getting built up there. Painting a grenade equals you built it right?

    Gentleman,
This car has been sold and the replies keep sending other H.A.M.B. classifieds down the page and some complaints have resulted from it.

Therefore, I am moving it to the main H.A.M.B. board if you would like to continue your discussion.

    Thanks,

    Cob

And that would make perfect sense except for the fact that loudpedal is 6' 0" tall.
