I was in a Walmart over the weekend and they had a bunch of graffiti diecast cars. I dont remember some of the cars from the movie but I like the pro-streetish looking Vega and Maverick diecast they had there in Graffiti packaging?, at least more than the Dodge Magnum wagon.........God bless the George Lucas money machine!

20 years ago I would have said the 32, but now it's the 55.

    Sorry I do not make a 32!

I purchased some of the original molds from the Powercar Company of Mystic CT. They made these cars for Ford and others to use at dealership promotions from 1955-67 and would update the cars each year to match the full size cars and would actually have Ford stylist make a mold buck prior to the release of the full size cars so the little ones could be used in opening day festivities!

The only molds that I have are the 57 Thunderbird, 1958-60 Thunderbird and the 1965-66 Mustang. Most of the original molds were destroyed many yeas ago! I make lots of parts for them to finish or restore them.

The 57 is on the back burner for now as I am working on an original 1961 Thunderbird junior. They are 1/3rd scale so most average size adults will fit in them. I do not since I am 6'6" and over 350 but here is a picture of my 6'4" skinny nephew driving my old 67 Mustang JR gas powered.

Yes they have working headlights, taillights, brakelights and horn!

I love every stinking part of that movie, but the coupe is the obvious star of the show. It had all the right sounds and moves to stir the gearhead soul (dumpy grill and all). "File that under C.S.".......... I't s a shame that LeMatt couldn't find another acting part to live up to his first big break........... I always couldn't stand to watch AG2 until I got the DVD. Now I can skip straight to the dragstrip scenes. Ah, yes!.............. By the way, nobody has mentioned the 56 Victoria that Toad tried to race just before he backed into "dear old dad". That was also a cool ride to see. "Whatya got in there? More than you can handle, kid!"

    1. Milner's coupe
    2. Pharoah's Merc
    3. '58
    4. '55

The '55 is burning with tude and '55s are my favorite of the tri-fives. But Milner's coupe really got me when I saw AG as a kid. Saw it at the drive-in. Didn't have an indoor theater, when it came out, in the town I grew up in.
I really got it for kustoms too, so the Merc gets second, and I always liked the '58 over the tri-fives.
