Is that the one you are talking about...It looks fun and crazy. My boss just showed it to me on airbrush.com today.
It was built in Sweden 2003-2004 by Lars Erik Lindberg, former president of SHRA, Swedish Hot Rod Association. It has a 454, frame is from a Volvo Duett and a Volvo 240 rear axle, Littlefield 8:71 blower, 2 x Holley 750 DP carbs. 550 - 600 hp. Paint by Ray Hill. Weighs around 1540 lbs.
Having one of those to drive would almost make me like snow. Any idea on top speed...or does it leave the ground
That thing is wicked! Now if it would actually snow here, instead of ice, and I had something like that.
bender racing makes a tubro kit to bolt on to a yamaha 4 stroke 1000cc 4 cly snomobile wit a realiable 300 hp!!
Sure, They are quite strong.. My friend runs a volvo 240 with a sbc that gives 700hp and he uses the original rear axel. Its a dragracing car on slicks so you prolly understand how solid the axel is.
