Just woke to see the news of the awful storms that ripped through Florida early this morning, and was wondering about any of our friends there? Please speak up when you get a chance, we are praying for you! I lived in Florida for 6 weeks through 4 hurracanes and several tornados, its scary to say the least! CR
My Family and most of our friends have been acounted for. Orlando got by-p***ed but Deland/Lady Lake/ The Villages/New Smyrna and surrounding areas were hit. The Tornados ran a path across Florida like a Hurricane Its NOT good for alllot of people
We're OK here in Kissimmee. I heard some of the storms were traveling across the state at 65mph. Add the tornados, and we're wondering "It's February, right?" Can't wait 'till hurricane season.
Good to go here in east Orange county. Lots of wind, rain, and noise last night and this morning, but only very minor stuff like sticks and leaves in my yard. 30 miles west of here, there's more than 20 square miles of Lake county that looks real bad, as do parts of Volusia county in Deland. Deland got socked with tornadoes on Christmas day, too. 14 dead - really tragic. Pictures and video at www.wftv.com
I see you are in Weeki wachee. We lived in Spring Hill and have a friend in SH. Ive tried calling him this morning but his cell is not working. But if your alright there, he probably just didnt pay his cell bill. lol
My grandparents live in the villages. they're okay, but across the street from them, there is almost nothing left of most of the houses. i hope everyone else is okay down there...
