I won't have anything in the tow vehicle but am up for paying my share for the law dog with the gun!! I wish I could make the trip without the trailer but the old J is built to go fast and stop right now. Hopefully in the future even my trailer puller will be accepted in the lot. Count me in on a room at the Ramada and a space in the parking lot for this "OLD YELLOW DRAG CAR"

It's not that bad but Sam had his cooler, full of food and beer plus some tools lifted last year.

yea, its ****in sad that we even have to think of a hired gun to watch our stuff. . . but thems the days we live in. many of us, myself included can remember a time when doors didnt NEED locks, and your neighbor would plant his foot securly into a persons *** for even getting too close to your car.

The Holiday Inn in Joplin is owned by John Q Hammons. A good friend of the guy (Bill Beall) who tried to shut Mo-Kan down a few years back. That is why we ask folks coming to Mo-Kan not to stay there. The Holiday Inn has been disrespectful to the track in other ways as well.

You can camp at the track, but we may run you out for a while on Saturday morning to make it easier on us.

Jasper County Sheriff is $20 per hour last I knew.

    Hi Carl!!! [IMG]

$20 an hour times 6 hours =$120 per nite..... would be easily covered by p***ing the hat so to speak.

I certainly don't want to wish away the summer BUT I CAN'T WAIT!!:D

I would chip in for a cop to watch our trailers. I got up every couple of hours and checked them myself last year. It would sure be nice to sleep and not have to worry about it this year.

You mean to tell me that all the Mo HAMBers we have, and this is a right to carry state we need to hire security. Rusty took care of that last year....:)

Breeder just please leave your thong at home.

What's more ironic is Plowboy getting a room right across the hall from thier host room a couple of years ago.

I read in the JOPLIN GLOBE today that the former TACO GRINGO next to the RAMADA will be turned into a STARBUCKS!

Les see.. Fast forward to Aug. 2007 Kerry is ordering a tall double latte at 2:22 a.m., "with room for beer please!" while TMAN digs a pit in the parking lot for the next "pig roast"....
