This one is from Custom Rodder magazing Dec. 1957. One of the most tastfully done Plymouth customs I've ever seen. Sorry for the poor pics.

  5. You see Todd the ****ing idiot welding and grinding with a plastic Gas Can in the trunk.
Brings the memory of me putting a door gl*** in a 34 chev at a body shop, I heard a big BOOOM!! and looked up to see a flaming 5 gallon lacquer thinner can bouncing off the ceiling and spewing fire everywhere. about the same time a flaming person came running by me and out the door and down the Alley. it took three of us to tackle him and put him out! seems like he used the can for a bench to tack a couple small parts. that can had the ceiling burning pretty good when we got back back in the shop. Lucky there was a hose inside.
I alway clear batteries and flamable liquids from the area before I weld or grind. I think it has helped me get this old:p

no the filler came out on the drivers side stock and we just made a new tube for it out of exhaust pipe. the taillight was actually functional(fliped up to fill gas)

again... the gas can was EMPTY and had no fumes was never used before then. haha

I need to change my signature. I found both grills already and they were for a friend. I like my funky grill.
