Another Sunday morning treat!! At -20 below wind chill here the cold rainy weather would be welcome. But its all relative, congrats to the troopers for bringin em out in the conditions. Was really surprized to see the fab. Aztec out there. Real hot rods are allowed out.. Those gators comin off the frame horns on that monster mill 33-34 coupe are cool. Forgot how outstanding those twin-H hudsons are. Could rave on and on, really a fresh bunch of rides to view for us cats who aren't in that hood. Great shot of the swingin brother on the dog house bass!! Thanks for carin and sharin!-Sololobo VIVA RUMBLERS!!!

I like this one, it reminds me of the purple touring car from Robert Williams's painting Hot Rod Race.

  10. Man', your presses must've been runnin' into the wee hours of the night. I'm still working on my second cup-a joe. We need a seminar on posting pictures like you professionals. :p
Was really impressed with the vast array of rides and amount of people whom turned out in the rain. You know it's cold in Florida when locals are gathering around your tiny grill to stay warm, while you're trying to cook some burgers and dogs. I feel like a wimp for not drivin' the Fairvilla '46 Chevy truck, just because the front windsheild poured in water. But hey, didn't want to risk someone elses prescious ride in the shitty weather.
The Aztec always will be incredable! But, hats off to the dude building that Carson top Chrysler. Metal craft was exceptional for a novice. Front clip was from a different car, as was the trunk lid (shoebox Ford?) Anyone remember his name.
Thanks to Nads and all the Rumblers for hosting the show. Rockin' music by Big Jeff Special and many others, as well as DJ Mark.
Why can't this turn into the East Coast version of PasoRobles??

P.S. Hey Denise, what happened to the HAMB meet-n-greet??

The Hamb meet and greet happened just about noon at the Draglinks spot pics were taken by Denise's dad , hopefully they get put up on here. This show doesnt need to turn into anything! Its a rocker on its own . Just imagine how many vcars woulda turned out if the weather was even halfway cooperative! As for the pics . I loaded all of them to my pc, then was loading 5 at a time to Photobucket, then copy and past to the Hamb. it did take a while as this was my 1st attempt at posting mass amounts of pics. i am sure there is a better way but at this point I dont know it!

so what's the deal with that merc with the skull grill and webbing for a hood? looks like the car has awsome potential...just the front end needs to be rethought and gone through. thanks for sharing the pics.

pics make the merc look much better. it was a 4 door made into a 2 door but they just welded the rear doors shut.

congrats to the rumblers for putting on a hell of a good show. it starts off being all about the cars, but it winds up being about all the great people in hot rodding. the rumblers are a great bunch of guys and ladies. thanks for the great time.

  22. As always a great show. If the Aztec and the A sedan with no glass that drove 200+ miles can be make it, there can be no excuses for not going. It's the best show in Florida. Thanks for the pic of the wife's 56 Dodge. Thanks again to Nads and the Rumblers. See you next year and in 2 weeks...

this was sure a fun show. it probably would have had a better turnout if the weather would have cooperated. someone needs to suggest to the rumblers that they move the show a few weeks later in the year but at the same time i will be there again next year no matter what the weather is like. all in all a very fun time. now if i can just get over this hangover ill be allright. thanks rumblers.

Move the show?? seven years and it rains every time there is something to be said for consistancy......Thanks again to the Rumblers like I said it was well woth the weather I have not had that much fun at a show in a long time.Besides if it were'nt cold we would not have seen Nads doing his impersonation of a rubbed out red crayon with that hat on and that slick caution tape belt set off his whole ensamble.....Special thanks to Micha and Tony and the rest of the J-ville guys for helping me when I over heated.Krusty and those Knuckle draggers in the Draglinks made the show alot of fun too thanks guys.....
