  2. why didn't you offer these on ebay to begin with?
Also if the guy took the pic from the hamb it should fall under the "you steal our shit, we'll kick your teeth in" rule.
also now your getting press on the purses, just in time for valentines day, huh, whatever. not my fortay, But what does bug is that buying and selling sometimes works like this, even here on the HAMB, i've seen people buy stuff and relist elsewhere for more. It happens all the time on ebay with electronics that are not out yet and people who purchase things from catalogs to resell them to you at a higher price.

Django had something like this happen to him with his car.

If he was 'testing the waters' and was going to buy them from you...he should have at least contacted you and asked permission to use your photos...also..."seeing what they would bring" before having a couple to sell in his posession seems fishy to me. What if you ran out and it took weeks for you to get them to him? Now he's got people pissed at him, and he gets pissed at you...

I say, YOU put them on eBay first. Why should he profit from you? If he can mark them up, so can you! :D

They advertise other peoples stuff, get a buyer interested enough to send money to their address and then just don't deliver? Man! what'll they think of next. I am always advertising something and have had several bogus cashiers checks sent to me, usually for two or three times what I am asking, I kinda collect them..What I've started doing lately is having them send their bogus checks, money orders straight to the District Attorneys office....

    Yeah,

I just hate it when people steal other peoples pictures, descriptions and item titles to sell their own items.

Couldn't have said it better myself there buddy.

Another HAMB'er had told me about someone using one of my pics in a similar way. A EBAy seller was selling how to chop video tapes and used (lifted from a hamb post) a pic I made up of my car in the ad. I contacted the seller and he immediately took it off.

So all you artists out there, always put in some signature in your pics to make it harder for these bums.

Its called a watermark i think, it usualy adds a faded signature or words across the photo, enough to be seen but suttle enough to not ruin much detail from the photo.

I create another layer that has a transparent quality, then I add my name or for example, "HAMB friday art" on that layer. You could just sign in the lower righthand corner normally. Not as foolproof but these "thieves" are so lazy they might not bother because of that.

Yes but check out the negative one. He is calling the other guy a fake. The other thing I notice he only takes Money orders and Casher checks.

I do not like doing business with someone that does not offer PayPal. Been burnt a fell time and there is no way to get your money back.

I sold my 1935 ford pickup on ebay. The guy won it made the payment. He lived in Ohio and was trying to get shipping co. to pick it up. About 2 week after he had won it, he called me and asked why I put it back up for sale. I ask him what he was talking about and he told me it was back up on ebay. I checked and it was. My pictues and dis. I contacted ebay and they took care of it. Never seen that person selling on ebay again.

This happen about 3 years ago.

This happens to me all of the time!
I have some very unique things on my websites and often people use images and text from my website in thier auctions. Sometimes they are stupid enough to link to images on my website. I make a bid so they can not change it without stopping the auction then go to my website and change the images on my website.

One guy was selling a steering wheel clock and used the image from my website instead of taking his own so I took my daughters princess clock and taped it to the middle of the steering wheel in my Plymouth UTE and put it on his auction.

Another guy I changed his picture to one that was needle thin and probably 16 feet long if you printed it. In order to view the description you had to scroll way down.

But the ultimate scumbag was actually taking pictures from my website and printing them on his printer and selling them for $10.00 + SH each. The guy has hundereds of pictures for sale in constant rotation so I am thinking he has been doing this for a long time. He claims that the prints are from his private negative collection but the image had every stain, fold and tear that the original on my site had. The one I had hosted on my website was a 8x10 but he was selling 5X7s and had lots of negative feedback from people saying he was selling crappy printed photos instead of photo processed prints.

I had the auction shut down but he is still selling with 1413 items for sale now! how many are just lifted from other peoples websites? he has some old racing stuff. user name ronsytonsynkayo

Below are some of the pictures I put on the dumbasses auctions
