Pictures of traditional T-buckets?

I've got a nice diamond-B engine that is going to be the heart of something - I'm leaning toward modified/track-T - possibly speedster-ish, but could see it ending up like a couple of these as well....more likely modified/track-T though!

Built this for $600 a few years back, a few trades involved but not much cash.

 

This thread is so cool it prompted me to get the T out of the garage today for the first time in a couple of months.
I gave it a wash and will be taking it to a run next weekend.

That page has plenty of fantastic looking T based rods. Yeah, it does have plenty that miss the mark, but that is the case with every kind/brand/year of rod, wherever you find them (including on the HAMB). Many/most miss the mark. Here's just one example from that page of a T bucket that I think hits the mark:

That T of Piaggi & Pavlovich from NZ would have to be the koolest on the planet!
I drove this car and it honks and handles really well!

 

Probably the first "T" bucket.........and probably as good as has been built. That is really rare........hitting the nail on the head with the first of anything!!!! And then to redo it into another version which is equally slick........f'ing amazing!!!!

 

I don't know anything about this one, except that I saw it @ the Nostalgia Drags at samoa Dragstrip in Eureka, CA last August, and I fell in love with it.

T buckets are hotrods based on the Model T Roadster bodies from 1923-25 for the most part, the earlier 17-22 bodies are not as popular and the modernized 26-27 bodies are also popular.
Subsets in the T bucket line include:
Roadster Pickup, the bulk of the genre with a body channelled the width of the frame and shortened T or A pickup bed raised a little higher than stock on the body.
Track Roadsters, most often with turtle decks and full hoods with many different noses (T, A, 32, curvaceous noses with custom shaped grilles_
Lakesters, essentially a standard T Bucket with no rear body work, just the frame, suspension and a gas tank hanging out back.

 

Here's a real one from NorCal. All owner-built. Henry steel, 331 Cad, Horne, Roto-Faze, 3-speed top loader. Yes, it was driven to the salt and back.

Thanks for the post Deathtrap. (and we both know what "Deathtrap" refers to) Bonneville is a long trip from the Bay area in a steel body T. Remember they're at least six inches shorter than their plastic lookalikes.
