I would like to think I would do the same thing in your shoes! Damn glad to see that you did. There are not enough people who stick to their guns like that these days. Thanks for the inspiration.

  6. jesse,
bro, with that attitude, one of these days you might make something of yourself!!
that was a very powerful thing to do. with so many people not supporting the troops, i'm sure that was a great morale booster for those guys, and a true account of your character.
    awesome!!

And a Discovery network ended up airing it, no?

I did enjoy that special, caught most of it twice, and as a vet, enjoyed your interactions with the troops a lot more than the build. Also appreciated the hell out of it. Thanks man.

Easy there, pal. This liberal fully supports Jesse and all of the troops over there risking their lives. It takes balls to go over there, period. Whether you're for or against the war, EVERYONE should support the troops.

Jesse, I've been a huge fan of yours ever since Motorcycle Mania 1, just keep doing what you do

  12. Jesse...as a Viet Nam era veteran, I applaud your choice. Makes it a little easier to sleep at night, doesn't it? I'm one of the people who believe we're doing the right thing over there, even though I seem to be in the minority.....
    Thank you.

Right on Jesse, we all respect your decision. I have to admit I was really pissed off when I didn't see you in the last episode, they didn't even mention your name. I was fuckin mad. Hey but it all worked out in the end, and I'm not ashamed of downloading all of the monster garage episodes offline anymore either! HA DC BITCHES!

  17. Good on you JJ. My brother's in the ARMY...not currently deployed, but will be soon. Doing something like that goes a long way to boost the morale of those making the sacrifice for the rest of us.

I have the upmost respect for your ability and vision of the chopper and car scene and have always dug your FTW stance on political crap and now that respect has hit a new level. Besides it loos like ya had fun oer there and i know the soldiers will not forget it anytime soon. I have a close buddy that i ride with that is over there and have had relatives fight in war.. so i will always respect and support the troops, even if i were to disagree why they are in war anyway, not saying im against the war now just a broad statement.

Would have been cooler if you didn't shout it from the roof tops... Still, I don't think your nearly as much of an asshole as I did.

  22. Jesse- Everything's been said for the most part...Just wanted to add my .02. The soldiers over there are true heros and the fact that you would go, against the "advice" of your boss, means even more to them I'm sure.
I didn't catch the special, but I'll look for it on re-runs...You rule!

    Jesse,
I saw the show It was one of the best. The soldiers over there need all our support we may or may not agree or want them over there but they still deserve our support and admiration for accepting the call of duty. I appreciated your show of support and the straightforward no bullshit comments. It is refreshing in a world in which it seems all the hero positions are occupied by dorks who wreck Enzos and paris hilton types who lack character and contribute nothing positve to the DNA of this country. I am starting to rant but basically thanks jesse.
