Here is an example of a 50 Ford F1 gauge cluster, restored to perfection, notice the intricate cross hatch pattern and even the odometer wheels have been re-screened. Email with any questions. vintageignition@yahoo.com

How about modern movements in older gauges?

Do you restore the phosphorescent (?) paint on gauges and needles (so they glow again)?

Shouldn't this be in the Hamb-O-Dex section?

Sorry, I didn't realize that was a prerequisite. Just thought more people would be looking there when they need work done, but who knows.

Very cool. I have a set of SW boat gauges and I want to convert the clock to a speedo. Also, they are all 6volt (fuel, temp, etc.) and the tach needs to be re done to more RPMs. The screening is a little more complex though than most. Is this a problem?

Those are some cool gauges, Comet!

  20. How much to silkscreen ALL, and VDO movements on the 4 smaller gauges (0-90 on fuel?). Amp changed to Volts, with center being 12 Volts? What's the turnaround?

Cool. I'm leaving the country Sat. so I'll try to remember to contact you after I get back.

Yeah, thanks! The real cool part was the price....FREE! They are called SW Sunburst (or something close to that). Came out of a 1957 Century Coronado with a Hemi mill. My A will have a '58 392 so it all works in the grand scheme of things.

I have a Dixco tach, that I would like checked and set up for a 6 cyl. No need to restore the out side, kinda like the way it looks now. Also have a 54 Chevy truck guage cluster that I would like converted. Not sure what would need to be done. Amp to volts, temp sender, and oil preasure is the tube type. Want to use the stock fuel tank. Would you have to modify the guage and the sender to work on 12 volts? Thanks, Dennis UPS, let me know, estimate and addy.

You said that you'll do full resto, but what about just clean ups/paint change? I have a '58 Chebby that is in good condition, but I would just like to change to antique white along with antiquing the lettering in a brown/gold. What kind of turn-around are we talking (it's a driver)?

If I just cracked the gl***, can I buy the gl*** and a bezel from you and roll it on myself?
