I'm trying to find a list of shows in the sacramento area . My two daughters have a 55 chevy and 60 chevy .It might get them fired up to drive them more if they went to a few shows and saw other cars like thiers ... Thanks, Larry vagabond88@sbcglobal.net
Whats up larry, I dont know of any sites that would have a list for the Sacramento area but you can take them to Autorama this weekend at Cal Expo, its friday saturday and sunday and I think it goes pretty late in the day on fri and sat. I also know that the Red Robin in Folsom (and I think the on in Citrus Heights) do a wednsday night cruise in which is fun on occasion but I dont know if that has started for the season yet.
Cruisin' News lists a lot of upcoming stuff. They're only print and not online I think.....EDIT (theres a website, http://www.cruisinnews.com) Here's some contact info if you don't have it. Cruisin News PO Box 1096 Folsom, Ca 95763 phone 916-933-0949 fax 916-933-4791 or email cruisinnews@aol.com subscription rate $28/year. Lots of swap and sell ads, and all the shows and cruise nights dates and locations. AND..... If you already have all this information, then, good for you hope it helps dave
True on all of the above. Red Robin won't start until April or May. For right now the Autorama is the only game in town, but you picked the right time to go. With the suede room full of HAMB type cars and people. Just found out that Alex Gambino is going to have a booth there.
As people have said get the cruisin news also try "drive" magazine. It Hasnt started yet but auburn puts on a cuise nite i think its the second friday of every month all summer long. I weekend up there as I have house there. Im usually there as are the poorboys club. LTR Dave
Cruisin News will have a booth at AutoRama. Stop by and say "howdy", pic up the latest issue ($3). Right now we are only in a couple of shops (VintageFord and American Pastimes), that will change soon. but for now, pic up a subscription, $28/year, it comes out firstclass mail and contains an events calendar, lists all the cruises and meets, and has ads for all the rusty parts you can eat.
There is also a weekly/monthly in old roseville, I believe that daddy o's in roseville is going to be doing something regular this year also. Went to each once last year. Folsom is closer!
As stated before the Autorama is this weekend, and if your daughters are over 21 take them to the Chop Tops show at Willemina's in Old Sac. Saturday night!
