'63 Ford Econoline P/U questions

    Okay rear frame the truck. spin engine so the trans faces the front mount transfer case to drive the rear wheels with the front drive yoke. keep the counterweight DONE........... now do killer wheelies. Yahoo!

    I remember looking at buying one twenty yers ago. It had a 289 V8. Sure thought it was original. Looked factory. Don't think that owner could have done a swap.
     
  3. How about a boat V-drive or a transfer case as mentioned before?
    As for the subframe, just be sure to put crush tubes through the unibody so you can torque the fasteners without crushing the unibody stampings.

    Subrame...with removable struts/dolly wheels at the front so you can just roll it out after blocking up the back of the truck.

    What the heck. Sounds like someone's been peaking into my garage. Not to hijack the thread but here is a pic of mine which I did exactly that (except I pulled the ballast and mounted the rad there).

    First post... bear with me as I try to post a pic.
