hey everyone just wanted to know what your running in your Merc if you could please put as much info as you can to help out a newb like me. thanks so much!

Dare to be different! This "motor or engine" is going in the Merc-somehow-along with a 9 inch.

 

hey 19fordy hows yr merc comin?? theres is a unrestored convert that matches yrs on ebay, and i found another untouched one hiding under a carport a few miles away, and its the same color too. i havent did **** to my ladies merc, just workin on everybody elses..

 

All 350 Chevys are the same dimensions....ya know...just for clearance issues...

 

small block in this one, if you position them right they fit real nice,

 

so it doesnt matter what 350 i get? they all fit?

 

you betcha, all SBCs 265, 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 383, 400... all will fit. did I forget any?!

 

Yeah! how about keeping it all FOMOCO 302 or 351W.

 

Be aware that if you run the stock steering box then you ain't gonna get those large bore tubular headers in there which is going to smog that 390 hp right down.

i'd look around and see what else is available .i installed one of their engines for a customer. it arrived missing some parts , and some parts were wrong.

ran good for 600 miles , and left the owner stranded in montana

 

i just want to get rid of the flatty and be able to drive when ever without maybe braking down. I know it causes a big debate with the flatty lovers but for my needs i would like to put a 350 in it.

 

anything good crates from edelbrock? Im not looking for major Hp just a nice cruizer that has a lil power if I need it
