Nice! Maybe metalflake the roof? And some trashy space chick airbrushed on the cowl would finish it off! ...and where in the hell did you get those rear tires!? Are they new? Sam.
Plowboy you done real good. That thing came out perfect. Awesome job. [ QUOTE ] And some trashy space chick airbrushed on the cowl would finish it off! [/ QUOTE ] I'm with SamIam on this one 100%! This is 'spacechick' from Casadiablos.com She even matches! -Dane
Fantastic man! I mean it was cool enough before, but now that it's all shiny and colorful it REALLY brings it all together and gives it a very cool 60's showrod vibe that just really works! and in just over a year no less....Seriously impressed.
[ QUOTE ] Sure, the guy builds a kick ass truck and we just gotta start messin' with it! MAN......I just love this truck....... And I love Big A's ideas as well. Freakin' COOL !!!! [/ QUOTE ]
I'm with them... saw it and took an assload of pics of it at the Pileup. Looks even better in paint! (all of this in 1 year and 2 months...) WE ARE ALL SLACKERS!! (I also think the spacechick is a good idea!)
Congrats PB, that truck turned out wicked cool. The spacechick would be a nice compliment to it . later plmczy
In foo foo hep kat talk..."that thing sends me!" It is way past kool man...I want to see it in real life!
That little truck is truly awesome...great job! What about the old frame & everything? It looks like it was in DAMN nice shape to begin with...
That is one good lookin truck! Man, thats a buety! Good color combo too!!!
100% original and KILLER. Saying it needs a chop and such is just trying to pull it back into the mundane fold of most hotrods (maybe steelies and black paint...haha)....You have created something truely Unique and f**king awesome looking...be proud. A RULER in my book. Cheers and Have Fun enjoying it! Maiki
I just got word from Plowboy last nite that he took the spacetruck on a 35 mile journey. and all is ok. he said he had a boner the size of texas. Only his old lady will know if that was true! hahahahaha All I can say is it's a good thing he left the truck last night to go pick up my rocket moter near st louey. because he prolly would of creamed all over it so much that the paint would have had a pearl coat over it. sick huh! Honestly hats off to Aaron on his first buildup of a car/truck and he did a fucking awesome job. And whats cool is he gives credit to the guys that did help him. It takes a man to do that and not many peolple are able to admit they needed help to finish there project.. But I gotta tell ya he said it was gonna be done before he started work in the spring and sure enough it is. he's a guy that actually keeps a goal I have a hard time doing that. again great job of bustin ass aaron and the end product is killer. hahaha now get readdy for you boyd pick at goodguys hahahahahaha
That truck only needs one more thing - a new owner......ME !!! "Breathless", "Awesome" and all those other words just don't do it justice.
I am out cruising right now and stopped at my buddy Greg's shop (GS Customs in Seymour, IL the guy with the wild 60 Impala) to check out the HAMB. I just talked to this older guy (a retired mechanic) for a couple of hours at his shop and he tod me to drive my truck till the tranny pukes, then worry about it. So I am! He seemed pretty sure it wasn't the pump and it may be the torque converter. So far, I have put about 70 miles on it and all is well. Sam, the tires are new right out of the Coker catalog. I gotta tell ya'll though, when I test drove the spacetruck last fall with radials it handled 10 times better than these bias plies. I could take my hands off the wheel, now I need them both. We'll see how well it does with a professional alignment though. Of course, it is windy as shit here right now. Thanks for the compliments folks. I just hope my tranny doesn't shit out right before Goodguys Indy!
I don't think anyone said Wow yet. WOW! Can't decide whether that's inspirational or intimidating. That is just totally cool.
HEL YEAH BRUTHA!! nows THATS one fine piece of machinery. bet you can't wait to drive the tires off it!! well done!!!
