Getting closer! The body work should be done next week and I can finish up the ch***is work...hopefully drive it this summer.
Damm, the pics are worth a thousand words. beautiful is all I can say .looks like a winner. Ill try to post up a pic of my 3-window project soon.
Looking GOOD ... I like the hood also ... I saw this On that site ... I believe it is a Mordor front seat ... Looks enough like this one to work ... IMHO
Myke, I too have a Columbia that I want to put under my 3w at some point. It's a tad too wide. How's yours? I didn't think they started selling columbias until about '35 or '36, so making one fit might be a case of mixing and matching axles and side bells.
Mine is a 37. It's going to be alittle wide but I am not running fenders so it should look fine. I am also using kelsey hayes wires that have been made 2 inches wider to the inside and that will help too. What year is yours?
What color are you going to paint it? NOT black...I hope! Just kidding Larry. Looks very nice, beautiful body work. Keep us posted. DD
Thats lookin real good. A columbia too, huh? I might have to get some info from you on how those work. I'm also likeing the '57 150 behind it.
Deuce Roadster, Not sure what the exact application is, but it sure doesn't look like the seat in my Deuce Alldoor? -Ryan .
I swapped some labor for my Columbia. He got it when he bought a '39 Merc, so I'm ***uming it was for that car originally. My measurements tell me it's an inch wider than a '39 Ford, which is what I'm putting in my car. I'm going full fendered, so I won't really know how it'll look until everythings mocked in place. The Columbia will be a winter redo thing some year. Right now I'm just scrambling to be on the road by July. Your car is looking great Myke. Where did you ever get your hands on such a pristine body?
Hey, no wonder you get so much done...there are 2 ghosts in the shop, just behind the right quarter next to the sheet metal break DD
If I wasn't so deep into a flathead drivetrain that's exactly what I would run. caddy motors are my favorite.
