Lighting Bolt Valve Cover

    Well I know it's for a Merc but after that,lol I'm thinking FE but have never seen one before.

    I have a pair on the 390 engine in my T sedan. Your's is the second one I have ever seen.I have been told they are pretty rare. Mine came off a 390FE out of a 65 Merc,cant remember which body style.

    definitely FE, but I am also not sure of the car that they came in.
     
  4. I bought one from Alaska,I think it was a Canadian Mercury truck item......
    Also was it not part of Fords"Job Rated" offerings in the mid sixties??

    canadian trucks have em. They are as rare as a merc truck. Those are cool.

    Yeah its for an FE man those valve covers are expensive( the merc ones)

    they came on marauders..and a few other cars..My dad has a few sets and before you ask...they aren't for sale..they're all in use haha

    Yeah,,it is kinda cool,,love finding neat stuff like this,,sometimes it the simple things that make something else look cool
