It happens to all of us. I remember my first post and ended up just deleting it and ending it as well. Hope ya stick around and enjoy. It only gets better from here.
Use the cheapest paint you can find spray it over red oxide. While paint is still fresh ( flashed but new) park near pigeons, or any other bird colony. The bird crap will really screw thw paint up. Don't wash it off untill a couplse of days after it dries. Wash it at the highest pressure car wash you can find and lean on it hard. Now do this often for about a month, then when you are sure the paint is gassed out you can stop this part of the process. Make sure you park it out in the elemants and dont care for it for about a year. Now wax the crap out of it, buff it in places if you want maybe you'll buff through to the primer. problem solved.
so would it be cool to leave the bel air i just scored that hs been in a barn since 1971 the way i found it...valve cover off, dry rotted tires?....i'll sell it to you for 20k
rent a wood chipper or just wait till they trim the trees by your house and throw in some wood and nails and a couple of buckets of red paint then make sure your car is real close to the chopped up stuff flying out to make sure you get a nice even coat on your car. you will get tons of compliments from amish dudes. It works I saw them do it on the Red green show.
