lets see your steering wheels. spending most of the time in the drivers seat, the one thing we see most is the wheel. some more pleasing that others. lets see um and what they come off of.
Maybe if I post up a REALLY bad shot of Mac's in his 60 Starliner, then he'll post up a REALLY nice one? Tis a thought. The silver flake matches his roof.........his mother would be proud, at least he can match SOMETHING.
Mac's steering wheel is bad***. Brandy, post a pic of your Holden wheel. That's one of the my favorite steering wheels.
I have the blue flake and chrome wheel from Night Prowlers. The wheel changed the whole look of my car and is keeping me busy this winter trying to complete B-fo D Roundup. My camera slot on Computer is screwed up right now so i cant post picks right now.
Yah Mac just had that done the silly lil ****....or is that LUCKY? Actually, this is Maiki's wheel in his Holden, but I stole the concept and bartered for one from the Aussies for my 58 Chevy. They say imitation is the best form of flattery and Mai is just soo purdy. Original: To Meow:
Here is my 49-51 merc accessory wheel I am almost done restoring. It just needs a new center ****on, and have the metal rechromed, and its going on my 47 ford, on top of a 51 merc auto shift column.
man the 53 merc and holden wheel is trippin me out. i got an aussie buddy. maybe he can get me one. he said holden over there are like 55 chevys over here, all over. what year is it? man i dig em all but definatelly cant afford most. keep em coming guys (and gals)
Here's the one in my Coupe...........there are conflicting opinions as to what year Thunderbird the wheel came out of. Anyone know for sure?
That Holden wheel is in the 60's cars. I'm sure as many were built and as far and few between they actually changed, you could prolly just pick a year and get lucky. It IS cool isn't it? Now, if I see someone else rollin with one in their car, I'll know where they got the idea.
I made this one for a guys Jag. Whacked the center out of a junk stock wheel. Little slice and dice with some tig welding and here it is.
try our australian ebay for the holden wheel pretty sure something would turn up. i believe its off an fb or ek holden correct me if im wrong.
Mine. I was looking for a 66/67 nova wheel but found this instead. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161374
