tool question

    if its been brought up before, sorry, I'm one of those FNG's...anyway,back at it.....

    anyone have any good or bad experiances with JET machine and fab tools? I know they are on the lower end of the food chain, but they have to be better than some of that **** right? .or maybe not?....

    Depends on what you are doing. Low production shop or even a home shop, decent bang for the buck. Higher production shop, save your pennies.

    yeah, I should have specified,... home useage for the most part, minor stuff for others on occasion. thanks for the reply

    I made a lotta good parts on a Jet lathe at one place i worked. Was an older model, not sure if the quality has held up.

    You could do alot worse....like anything made by delta nowadays.
