Can any of youze guys tell me what this is ??? ..... Block driver side GM57LG SG1 Block p*** side 14023638 Heads 14102183 date -- C29 (?) Couldn't find them on the Mortec site ......any help ??I'd like to know HP rating, etc, ......... Thanks, jersey Skip
There is a series of stamped numbers and letters on the front of the block [facing up] just in front of the p***enger cylinder head. My book will use those numbers.
I can't find either, but it's probably from 87-89. It seems anything with a castng starting with 14****X is from that era. Same with the ARH suffix. anything even close was for an '89 350 or 305
10493638: 86 and 87 truck/Camaro 350 with a 1-piece rear main seal 14102183: no #'s listed for those heads... closest I have is 14102187 for 87 and 88 305 truck heads. Travis
The numbers I posted ARE correct ..... suposta' be a 1990- 350 police motor (?). has center bolt valve covers ..and it IS a roller motor .... anybody else ??? Rocky ?? Jersey Skip
Rocky....thanks any how man ....randy D ,, i said in my post Mortec was no help.....I also did a search and looked at least 20 other sites for numbers and no good .... I figured if anybody's gonna know it'll be a HAMBer ! .....C'mon guys ....what he hell is it ?? thanks, Jersey Skip
Its a normal 350 centerbolt-valve covers-throttle body injection 350.motor[cop cars were chipped better in the PROM dept] but were not as good as the LT1 which was introduced in police cars in '94
Here you go.. 14093638...350...87-95...2 or 4...Roller or flat tappet cam one-piece rear seal 14102183...Late 350 TBI swirl port heads. Limited high performance head. The funky shape and swirl vane in the intake port promotes high swirl and turbulance but restrict high lift flow. Hope this Helps.. Matt
