Looks like the flatty is hanging from the exhaust of a Taurus.

 

I gave mine a pat on the head as I walked by to grab the snow shovel.
I'm so done with winter, but it ain't done with me.

I havent been giveing her enough attention lately. Ive been real busy but yesterday I went out and got a little bit done. And took a couple of pictures. I still havent fired her up. Its been over a year and she is gettin pissed.

 

Oh! hugged mine today, mounted the main bearing straps/supports.
Hope it would hold together. Waiting for more blower parts!!!

Taildragger&fenderless

 

Finally got mine back together last night. Then, I proceeded to bust the hell outta my transmission. Oh well, time to fix that!

 

no hugs for my flathead, i just give it a little pat on the carbs before i go to bed each night.

 

...my flathead is spoiled...they hug it for me...

 

Hugged? I want to kick mine square in the nuts! It's got something going on with it that Bruce Lancaster hasn't even seen! And after I've dumped all that money on it too...

 

The Merc is sittin high up on jack stands with the ****** out, and more lowerin happening. I can't reach it!

 

Kind of needed to hang motor to put flywheel and adaptor on it also load on truck ,all acomplished in one cool move. Hug was just a bonus. Hung motor from tow loop, worked well I think.

 

This reminds me I need to go and fire mine up. If I let her sit for a week she doesn't like me and won't start. Then I have to go find the gas can and prime the carb. I have gotten some work done on my other one, finally got the T-5 installed now I need a driveshaft .

 

Well, I would if I could get down under my hood far enough! I threw an MSD ready-to-run in it a couple weeks ago, and got to drive it for the first time last week. What a difference! Dead cold or warmed up, it just NEVER misses! It made a world of difference.

 

She's pretty. Send her my way, I'll hug her!

 

haha...thanks. but she is staying where she is. To much damn money in her. And it is my first. (flathead) I can never get rid of it.
