Looking for ideas for a change for this car.

I took the blower off it and putting a stock hood back on it and just looking for a change nothing to drastic.

 

Try painting it?

Silver comes to mind and loose the red wheels they just don't go with the car.

 

Well I was thinking of changing the wheels and keeping the paint as it takes abuse and I am really not into paint.

 

Turn the torsions down, lower the rear, chrome the bumpers, chrome reverses, and a FOGGED panel paint job......yeah man....
What color is the interior??? Maybe 'flake the roof in a matching hue....

 

Fogged? what is that? Door panels and dash are blue, chrome reverses??? I would like to drop it.

 

Glad you got rid of the blower...now lower it, pinner whites, full moon discs, chrome the bumpers, build yourself a straight bar grille to make it look wider (but keep the quad headlights), tint the windows darker...and PAINT IT. Flat blak and red wheels is so MP3 player...

Chrome reverse WHEELS......Fogged paint is exactly that....fogging a slightly darker color along edges of the body.....ala Gene Winfield.
Cars with lines like yours really look nice with a fog and panel job......

I'm thinkin double bubble open ****pit with a giant flamethrower in the back and a motion activated soundtrack that went " Da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da BATMAN!" **** it - Have fun.

The '58 is a Winfield paint job.....

Is the top one a different color along the trim lines?

Btw thanks for everyones input, this will give me something to noodle.

 

Definately get rid of that pucker face grille. Never liked that sunken look the way the factory did it. Like mentioned before, a straight across stainless tube grille that's either flush or dished outward, opposite of what you have now.
Some other color, other than flat black. The black car and black wall tires are kind of blah. Maybe a medium red or blue metalic (flat if you want) with painted silver or chrome wheels & thin whitewalls. If you want to go nutz how' bout yellow??
Chromed bumpers......with short 50 caliber barrels poking out where your turn signalg are now. ...could put some LED's in the barrel ends to function as turn signals.
Keep the side trim, thats cool.
