  4. the "Portland Roadster Show" Mar 2,3,4. they don't put them in a ba*****t! they're proudly sitting on the main floor.
I've never been to the other show because I HATED Dan Cyrs and the horse he rode in on. the R$C show is this week end and I'll probably go on sat, just to what it is

  5. The PRS has always been a cl*** show and Nonaame hit it right on the head about dan cyr.he's the ***hole that sold out the Oakland show to la just for the money.screw history...right danny......check with Joyce the hot rod lady she always knows what is up in Portland....

portland R&C show blows the big one... its becoming increasingly gayer every year so i didnt even go... the only reason i went the two previous years was to just say hi to gene and pick his brain. any one know what joyce has been up to lately? i havent seen her in a spell.

I hear that Dan Cyr sold the rest of his shows prior to this year - correct me if I am wrong but I think he owned Seattle, Sacto, Portland Rod and Custom and the Grand National. I will keep my mouth shut on my true feelings about that, (don't want to get sued ;) ) but it COULD be good for all of us. I heard the Rod and Custom show was better - a few trad pieces there, but not like the Roadster Show. The Portland Roadster Show is steeped in tradition and I a**** many others wait for it. It's a must see deal. I am bringing the Black Bomber to it - my '31 coupe. Not doing judging just for display only. Haven't done that show for over 20 years - don't know if I am excited or not, but it's cheaper than buying tickets at 35 bucks for the whole weekend!! Hopefully see some of youse guys there. :)
