I'm going to be going to the Columbia, MO swap meet this weekend with Raven61, and wanted to offer up a special ********y finishing deal for anyone that's going to be there and wants to save on shipping charges. Special price for the event will be $70.00 for eight hours of machine time- which is the typical amount of time for a raw aluminum casting. I can run TWO flathead intakes or flathead heads at once for the same price, also valve covers for those 'new-fangled' kind of cars. CARB Sale- I'll run three Holley 94 or Stromberg 97 bodies for $65.00. I'm bumming a ride down, so the return space is limited- get in line with your goodies now! I also like the key chains. I should get 5 or so for the wifes key ring(you know all the **** on there key chains) It would be like throwin out an anchor and I could go about my buiseness and not have to worry about where she is. (Like I worry) Are you going to have a booth? If not bring one for me.
I didn't know about the swap meet early enough to get something together to sell, so I'll just be wandering around and gawking. I may just wear a bunch of them around my neck.
The first few times I went to the Columbia swap, it was 90% Roundy-round stuff. Its been getting better every year though, as far as Rod related items. Word of advice though, if you are wanting to meet any other HAMB members, you better set it up ahead of time. Once you get inside the building, you'll be doing good just to make your way through the crowds, much less actually finding someone in particular.
Yeah, like several thousand... "Weeds" is usually easy to find. White hair, about 4 feet tall, and the only person I know that wears Penny Loafers everywhere he goes.
