There is a Jalopy Shop in Escondido CA, really close to San Diego. They build Hamb style stuff.

That's the same shop I thought of. I believe it's operated by Rogue here on the HAMB.

That answers that question....no jalopy shop for us. We're beating some names around and that one came up. I was just checking to make sure nobody used it.

  11. YEA! You've allready got the best name out there:cool: .
If its a "legal" issue, how about a fresh logo? There is plenty of incredible talent around here that could help you out with that.

Yeh it's a hard decision. We're already sorta known as SoWhat but the initial intentions was just to be a club. The club will go on we just need a name for the shop.

Then there is Shug in Cal. with the same name and there's been confusion with that.

We haven't had any problems from SoCal but that's a black cloud that could be hanging over us all the time.

It's not easy coming up with a name that isn't used already.

Anymore shots of that shoebox? That is a beautiful car. How about "Normans' Killer HotRod Shop" or "Psycho Hotrods, we're crazy about what we build". Good luck. later shawn

That's funny clark this has been an ongoing battle for you.

I bet it is an issue every time at a carshow deadline,
when you need the striper to put your name on the new rig!

At least you can churn out a car while your contemplating...

(I had chosen perichbrothers a while ago, then had a girl!)

Zibo...yeh. We've talked about the change a lot but it just doesn't seem to happen.

John and Sumo....I know all of the crew would stand behind me keeping the SoWhat name even though it was just supposed to be a club. Especially the founding fathers :)

Maybe just a simple change to So What Hot Rod Shop. That would get us away from both Shug and SoCal.

I like the Psycho Hot Rod name.....goes with my alias...Norman Bates
