I've been reading your board for some time now, and it rocks! I'm gathering ideas for a very unusual rod and I like what I see. I'm tolerant of all forms of car art, but I like traditional the best. My car roots came from attending the Oakland Roadster Show from the mid '60's to the late '70's, and I cruised East 14th as a teen. I've lived all over the world and have seen some bad rides! Trailer queens ain't my thing. Sixty miles south of Atlanta is my home of choice now.
Well....howdy. Be sure to come up to Lanier Speedway the first weekend in March for the swap meet. It's a two day event this time. Look forward to meeting you. Oh...we are easy to spot...just look for the 54 Chevy with the sock on the antennae.
Thanks for the invite, Stevie G. I'm hoping to get out more this year; last year ****ed. I go to the various cruises south of Atlanta, like Newnan, Griffin, Fayetteville, etc. My club got up a run to the new Summit Racing shop and their Monday night (?) get togethers, but I couldn't make it. I'd like to get up to the racing and the other cruises. Raising a 6 year old and running a business at 50+ kinda takes planning (and a bunch of naps)!
