Wanna see where all the Poly people are from? Yesterday I put a Clustrmap on The Polyspherical Engine Association website - click the link at the bottom of the homepage and you can see a map of people's locations that have visited it since yesterday. Here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/polyman64/ ~Jason
If you get down to OKC you can have the 318 Poly I pulled out of my wife's Fury. If it hasn't been scraped................
It's the original motor to the car 2bbl. The A/C compressors still onit......I think the PS pump may still be available. It ran when i pulled it. Can't really say how well as the suspension on the car was a mess. here's a picture in the car, it's laying out in the elements now.
Waiting to be my next project is a 66 Charger with the 318 poly engine..not knowing anything about it, my quandary is to go with another engine or rebuild this one? I will read the rest of the thread for advice, or please someone tell what is the most for my money......
I say keep the Poly - good on ya, flatoz! Don't let someone white ant you into another motor. Need convincing? You got it! Here's the site that started it all, The Polyspherical Engine Association: http://www.geocities.com/polyman64 Here's the 318 Poly Yahoo Group: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/318poly/ And here's the 318 Poly forum: http://www.diamondbackengines.com/forums/index.php/board,6.0.html Man, anything you need - we know it. The business directory on the Polyspherical Engine Association's site is the most complete on the web, from stock parts to high performance - I should know, I compiled a lot of it. We're also around to answer questions. Everyone's got a 360 or 440... keep the Poly. Besides, the torque it puts out is like a built 360! ~Jason
I wish I had one - the only way I'm getting there is to build a log manifold from a kit, per the link on the business directory at the site above. ~Jason
