    anyone got any pics of the flip up wheel? They called it a fat man wheel or something.

    No pic...but '59-'62 Olds steering wheels are one of my favs....really DEEP.

    Dvanecek , check out the second picture on this subject. That wheel is shown without the tilt mechanism. Available in lots of mid teen cars.

    I have a wheel that resembles yours but I don't think mine was a fatman wheel that tilted. I still don't know what my wheel is from but it also has a key'd lock in it. Here's a thread with some pics of it:

    Ahh! Why didn't I think of this subject for a post. I love Steering wheels! And Chrysler had the best ones! Here's my favorite out of a 1958 Continental.

    That wheel and dash are so great looking. I looked for both for my '36, but never found them.

    I will never forget the first time I got bitten by one of those little puckers as a kid.......ahh, memories..one on the door handle, one on the gear shift and one on the steering shaft........dont forget the milk crate:D .......I like that dodge wheel, nice....Bert
