anyone in orange county know of a good "old time" auto paint supply shop that actually sells tools (other then cheap harbor freight style ones). looking to get a few more martin hammers and dollies, but the paint store by my house has dick now. i know i can get them on line but i like to look at them first, hold them, caress them....... i know of betz place in orange and i think i remeber on in Stanton across from mattson's radiator.
There is Finishmasters just north of the 5 and Beach. I use Fountain Valley Paints off of Slater and Euclid. The problem is that most of these stores do not seem to carry a lot of stock as far as the tools, it is all paint. I was not impressed with the store across from Mattsons. Limited supply and didn't seem to know much. They actually sent me to Finishmasters to get my primer.
Hey Dan. Check out Sunchasers. I think they are in Pasadena, but they don't really have a retail store. You can call them up and see if they are going to be at one of the auto swaps. i've bought some nice stuff from them.
call sun chaser tools, there in pasadena right off the 210 fwy. ask for Ken, you can tell him Rudy recomended you to him. he will either send you what you want or you can go down there and carress all you want with an appoinment. all his tools are quality and nice guy to work with.
