As the title pretty much sums up, im itching to buy this guys 56 chevy 3100 short bed. But I have a big bench in my garage and im not sure if its going to fit or not. Can someone measure theres bumper to bumper so I can see if i need to make adjustments or other arrangements?
    Thanks!

If your full size car or a friend's pickup will fit in there, the 56 will.

That extendedcab Late model truck probably is the long wheelbase too, isn't it? The shortbox stepside or styleside trucks are taller than longer.
Guess you'll have to move the bench, won't ya?

Guessing, but I doubt if a short box Chevy is more that 17 ft. My 51 Ford F1 is about 16

i have 16' 5" of room to the bench... its cutting it close. I can take the bumper off of it while im doing the body work but its going to be a pain...

I live in a new suburb neighborhood and my neighbors are uptight fuckheads so i have to do all my work in the garage.

    Thanks for the help guys

    I'd move.

I'd also look at investing in a set of those skates so you can easily push it around while you work on it.

    Then I'd move.
