when i first came here i was very surprised at how fast paced the board is..question after question and answer after answer. i really like the new look of the board. i think the mods and members have done a great job, making this a place people want to come back too.
i see a lot of very nice cars and trucks here. and hope to learn about all of them..
i think this place rocks.. way to go:) your pal mark

This site rules being the brainchild of a "GOD" by the name of Ryan and the others that help moderate this site. I wonder if they (he) had any idea that it was going to become this big? "VIVA LA HAMB!" KNUX!

For me it has always been the dedication of the majority of the user group to keep it on topic and at least entertaining when it gets a little OT.

Yep, It's kool. This thing is gettin' so big that it would be even kooler to split it up by subjects. Engine/trans/drivetrain, suspension/ch***is, body/paint, general car ********, general O/T ******** etc. That's easy for me to say though. Thanks to all envolved.
    Have fun,Smokey

Its cool because its not trying to be. Its because its about people and their rides not about scene.

People being people with like interests and values is always cool.

I kind of dig how there are every few catagories. You have to sift through alot of things each time. I've learned a ton of things just by having to dig through topics. Things I might have never clicked if they were sorted by subject.

    The mentoring at***ude as well.
Sometimes you get mentored and sometimes you p*** it on.

The open mindedness of everyone, and the ability to appreciate what others are doing and help even though it might not be what kind of car thay are into.
No up nose at***udes makes this a great place. It is ok to be into whatever you like as long as you wrench on it and built it yourself... I have learned so much just watching others on here, and some people have so much tallent and ability it is amazing, metalshapes and others have shown more about metalwork than I have seen in any book and by watching and seeing what they create it really makes me more creative in what I do..

So thanks to everyone here and I hope I can return the favor in the future...

The fact that it is fast paced, and in most cases you can get answeres to things really quick.Lots of great tech info, and a fair amount of that info in words basic people can understand :)

It just inspires you to work on a project or help someone else with theirs. I'll never froget posting a question at 1:00 in the morning, making a cup of coffee, checking back to find someone posting the answer in less than 15 minutes. There is a great cross section of people with one common factor, we're car people, and we like what others have for projects.

Between ALL of us we know EVERYTHING. (I think) LOL

  25. Don't let them fool ya....

I and I alone make the HAMB cool.:rolleyes: Hell, I can't say that with a straight face...

Not really, I know nothing compared to some of the guys and gals here. What makes the place cool, to me at least, is that this bunch is a lot like a garage with the whole gang hanging around. Lots of knowledge, plenty of opinions, and a good dose of ******** and sarcasm. And a PBR once in a while.

BTW - Hey there fellow Auroran!!!
