Running truck? Your not giving much info. If the truck runs, but it's a piece of **** it's not much of a deal. If everything else is equal, i'd do it. I might be a bit Bias though:D

actually the truck is really solid. i think its in better shape than the plymouth. the man that has the truck wants the car so bad he isnt seeing the real condition. i need to fix a leaky wheel cylinder and i can be driving.

A driver is a lot more fun than a project. Do you want/need the truck, or would you rather have the Plymouth? You're the one that has to like the result. One thing in favor of the truck, it doesn't have a SBC in it, now if the Plym had a 340 or Hemi.... :)

Your Plymouth looks really good. How much work would it take to complete it? Is the F-1 in as sound of shape, bodywise and structuraly? Were it mine, I'd trade, but I'm a Ford with Ford power junkie..:)

Your preferences in rods vs pickups and how much you love that Ply is another story. So it's really your choice.

Looks like the truck has stock suspension and an updated drivetrain. Moving the ch***is closer to the ground won't be that hard, and you could do it a bit at a time, so as to have not much down time. But that old truck won't perform or ride like a car without a ton of work. I have both a truck and cars. They have different characteristics, but each is cool in its own way. Just don't think the truck will be a direct replacement for the things the car will eventually be able to do.

There really isn't anything wrong with having a truck. In my opinion it's really up to you. I can't tell you what to like. I'd trade something that might be "better" for something I really liked.

I'd go for it then. that front grill area looks more like a Dodge than a Plym.

The plymouth looks to be in better shape, but you say maybe not and you would know.

That said, I'd take an F1 any day over a plymouth.

I don't know about condition and work needed, and all that, but I do know this-if you have long legs, that truck is not going to be fun to drive for long. Tall folks tend to forget the seat won't go back as far as in a car. I really like those 40-41 plymouths, but it's your deal. Those trucks are pretty hot now, but those mopars seem to be few and far between. Good luck.
