The Wisconsin Model A club annual swap meet is Sunday, Feb 25,2007 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Jackson Wisconsin. The swap meet is right off HY 45 just north of jackson. Any HAMBers going? I know Lover Dude will be there. Kermit
Roupe: If you are going to drive the RHD '32 roadster please pick me up on your way through. Kermit in Neosho
I'm debating. I've never been to this one. Anyone know price of admission and the hours? How about the size of it? Just wondering out loud to see if it's worth going. Also depends on the weather. Steve
They open the spectator doors at 8AM and they ususally charge $5.00. I think it lasts until 5 PM. ABout 1/2 of the items are in heated buildings and the rest is in unheated buildings. This is NOT a major swap meet. I usually go through it in 2 hours. Kermit.
We'll see, I guess that would depend on the weather. No heater so must dress warm. Probably just drive the Explorer (no fun).
Thanks Kermit. I think I might make it. Wrong time of year for extra money for me but I can still check it out. Steve
Sounds interesting, never been to that one but might be worth the trip. Anyone else go to the Waverly Beach swap meet in Appleton today? I bought a bunch of shit. Small swap but lots of good deals.
yeah the Cheaters went and it was called off because of the snow and the county wouldn't plow the grounds. But I heard that the snowballs were flying anywho.. I wasn't with them but they are on their way back now. Jack
As some of you know, The Sunday, Feb. 25th Model A Swap Meet at the Washington County Fair Grounds was cancelled by Washington County due to the snow. GOOD NEWS, I have been informed and asked to tell all that are willing to listen by Al of "Mail Truck Model A" in nearby Oak Creek, WI that the Swap has been rescheuled for Saturday, April 7th! Same place of course. I repeat... SATURDAY, APRIL 7th - MODEL A SWAP! Washington County Fair Grounds. Wisconsin HAMB Eaters, I hope this info is helpful. For those that are already aware of this, good for you. I'm just trying to help. Any questions please direct them to Al or Tony of Mail Truck Model A, 414-762-7288.
