I would like to start by thanking my buddy Laurie Peterson "ratstu" of Canada Customs & Hot Rods, because he built this car for me. It was in his shop for a whole year and he spent many weekends and nights slaving away on this project. It was a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air that has now been transformed into a 50's style Custom. It was chopped 3 ¾, has a 50 Ford rear window, 56 Packard taillights, 56 Chevy front & rear bumpers, 56 Olds head light bezels, 55 Chevy front fender lips, custom skirts and some other goodies. I think I might call her Fools Gold. Here's some pics ....
yes very nice rig..i would be very proud to drive that down the road. fools gold sounds like a fitting name
Boy, I hope that you will be driving and showing your ride a lot! Don't forget to send some photos to the kool magazines. They might not get to your part of the world too often. New that captures the old equals real gold.
what kind of chrome "trim" is on the door panels separating the gold and white vinyls? really slick door panel treatments!
WOW ! It's stunning! If it was in the shop just a year Mr. Peterson was a busy boy. Enjoy and be sure to share it with others.
any chance you going to bring it down to paso this year i would love to see it in person, outstanding job!!
Very nice, tatefully done. Love the interior, is that metalflake on the armrest & front portion of the door panel.
Holmes...you nailed it! Thats the best looking one i've seen built on here..The chop is perfect and flows the way a true kustom should.....Nice job...I just cant get enough of it!
