  4. Looks like a real nice job.I only have one question though;has Tina ever driven a car with a striped dash?

The reason I ask is a lot of my customers want striping on their dashboards and I tell them if they have never driven a car with it done ,they may be in for a rude surprise.

What happens is the striping is reflected on the windshield as a double image(due to the fact that windshields are laminated of two sheets of gl***)and on a sunny day it can be VERY distracting;to the point I have had people actually want it removed after a few bright days.

I usually try and confine striping on a dash to an area where it won't reflect.Just my twopence.

Nope and we didn't even consider it.....hummm...

Well, I will let you know how it turns out, she is planning on taking it to the roundup.

  6. Great job. I'm usually not into elaborate striping, but that is beautiful.

  7. Looks good. Interesting point, safariknut- I know firsthand that dashes can be a pain in the *** for a striper, but I'd never considered the reflection issue.

Is may or june soon? I will be going to SoDak to get my granddad's 37 chevy truck, I could stop on the way.

Layout? Well what I did was start with one long swoopy line, all the way across the dash, then I followed it with a couple more lines, that left a bunch of little gaps which I then filled with whatever seemed to fit.

It was inspired by a Bike gas tank by Har****.

Nice Dash! Reminds me of a song... "My dash is so bright, I have to wear shades."

Oh and your helmet left today.

Wow, that looks really nice! You get lost in there, very cool.
As far as it being distracting? She's a girl right?! They never look at the road anyway! ha
