Here are some pictures of my '62 Galaxie 500 XL hardtop, 4-link, dropped spindles and fully bagged by the 'suspension guru' "Juke Joint Johnny". It's got a very healthy 428 c.i. engine. (it's in the garage getting a 700-R4 "tranny-transplant") & my '55 Buick 'Super' (same as Roadmaster) with a nice running 322 'nailhead', and fully bagged. I miss my Buick, it was sold and went to Australia.:(

1954 with 33,000 verifiable miles. Indiana inspection sticker in the window is from 1980 and shows the car with 7800 miles. From the story, it took a hit on the nose in the 50's and sat in a garage until 1980. It has an alternator (still 6 volt) and radials. Other than someone has added an auxiliary fan and it has a 53 hood (with 54 trim) as far as I've been able to determine, it's bone stock. Even has the original spare in the trunk. (still holding air)

It sat again through the 80's and 90's and has had the majority of the miles put on it the last 4 years.

Now I know some will hate on the stock configuration but it's staying that way for a little while for a very good reason.

My dad always took me to car shows which no doubt lead to my continued interest. He always dug the cars with their original drivetrains and interiors. He was really hating on the 80's-90's car shows.

He is getting a few years on him also and it will be a very cool way to spend some time with him. Skirts, WWW, lowered etc will be in it's future but we are going to spend some time in the present with it first. It's my everyday driver. Currently covered in snow.

Man, that's nice! I don't see alot of stuff from Sweden, but what I do see, shows that you guys way-over-there, really hit the proverbial nail on the head, when it comes to building real period style rods & customs!
