Home made slingshot dragster

    One of my good friends has been building this one for a while. I did the paint and made the steering wheel for it. He build the whole thing himself from front to rear. It is sertified and should be going for this season. The motor is a 302 chevy on alkey. should be good fun with good friends.:D

  8. That's an awesome rig. Nice paint, is that a candy over silver? How did you get the engine turned look? It's really cool as hell.

    Not to be an A-hole but are you sure that chassis is certified? From the body forward it just looks wrong.

    I am sure that It certified. Had to take it twice. Had to add some bars to the cage under the body. The paint is candy green over engine turned al. its 114in wheelbase.

    Any side pics of the car without the body? I'm interested because I've built front and rear engined chassis and it also relates to some recent posts on certification on '50s style slingshot chassis. BTW the paint work looks great.
