Next winter I am going to have the car painted gloss black, but for now while I am driving it this summer I figured I would throw a base coat of color on it.

I really don't think I like how the color came out. I wanted a real dark blue but it came out like this. Roy (the painter) says tell me in the morning if you want it changed to a black base coat or live with it.

    What do you guys think?

leave it... ummm... different. Don't go black, if anything, try and get the blue hue you were thinking of.

    Thanks for the replies!

He noticed it was little thin so it's getting some more coats in the morning. That's why I need to tell him what color to put in his gun.

  21. I love it. My personal preference on the wheels would be gloss black, but that's just me. Finish up the paint, and drive the piss out of it.

I say leave it. It's different. It's still dark. Hell, who knows, in a year it might have grown on you enough to where you'll wan to throw clear on it.

I wanted a dark color but didn't want the stereotype black so I'm going with BR Green. Real dark, real cool, real uncommon.

I really like it - like you said, drive it a summer - then finish it.
